Welcome to the underground drag scene, a place where many queer individuals create families for themselves. The legendary House of Lights is one such family. As they prepare for a competitive ball with a rival house, each member confronts their identity within the family. Lee, a returning vet, raises unwanted questions and emotions for the doctor that is attempting to perform a risky and experimental surgery on him. The doctor must come face to face with her own demons concerning a child in combat.

Bunk is a new play by Nigerian-American Playwright Julie Taiwo Oni. It tells the story of Wade and Ade, an African-American and a Nigerian man who are paired together to construct a bunk bed for an on-site interview with a construction company. Through their journey to assemble this supposedly simple piece of furniture, they bond and battle as they come to recognize that what they assumed about each other’s backgrounds is not exactly the whole story.

Michael John LaChiusa’s three-part musical explores lust, greed, murder and redemption through the stories of a 1950s murder noir, a priest’s crisis of faith, and the final tryst of two lovers. A lush musical score combining jazz, pop, classical and Asian influences drives the story telling in this virtuosic piece of Music Theatre.
